Where do canvases shared with me show up?
Quick answer
Sign in with the email the canvas was shared to. On your home page (drafty.im/home), canvases you have edit access to show under “Shared with you”, below your own. Open one to add or check off tasks and leave comments — no need to dig up the original link.
When someone shares a canvas with you to edit, it shows up on your Drafty home page under Shared with you, below your own canvases. You don't have to keep the original link — sign in and it's waiting for you, on any device.
Where shared canvases appear
Go to your home page at drafty.im/home. Canvases you have edit access to are listed under a Shared with you heading, with a live mark on anything Claude is working on right now. Open one to add or check off tasks, edit the content, and leave comments — the same as the person who shared it.
The key is signing in with the email the canvas was shared to. The list is matched to your account email, so if you sign in with a different address you won't see it.
"I was invited but don't see it"
Two things to check:
- The email. Sign in with the exact address the invite went to. On Drafty you sign in with a magic code — a one-time code emailed to you — so you can do it from any device.
- Edit vs. comment-only. "Shared with you" lists canvases you can edit. If you were invited only to view and comment, open it from the link in your invite email instead — comment-only canvases aren't listed on your home page by design.
You don't need Claude Code
Connecting an agent (Claude Code) is only for having Claude write and edit canvases for you. To review, edit, and comment on a canvas someone shared with you, you just sign in and open it — there's nothing to install, on a computer or a phone. If you ever want Claude to work on your own canvases, the option to connect is offered right on your home page.
Add it to your phone
Open drafty.im in your phone's browser and use Add to Home Screen. The icon opens straight to your canvases — including the ones shared with you — so a shared to-do list or doc is one tap away.
